Why Choose SMDAir
Built for precise SMD and PCB rework
The SMDAir SMD Hot Air Rework Station Kit is designed for controlled electronics work rather than generic heat-gun tasks. With adjustable temperature and airflow, it is ideal for SMD component removal, connector replacement, shrink work and careful PCB repair. The digital display helps you dial in repeatable settings for cleaner results across hobby, repair and prototyping jobs.
Bench-ready kit with the accessories you actually need
Unlike many bare-unit listings, this hot air soldering station arrives ready for real bench use. In the box you get four hot air nozzles for different package sizes, a soldering work mat to protect your surface, ESD-safe tweezers for handling delicate parts and a UK plug for simple setup. It is a practical all-in-one option for anyone starting with SMD work or upgrading from a more basic station.
Save time with 3 programmable memory channels
For repeated jobs, the three memory channels are a genuine workflow upgrade. Store your preferred settings for common tasks such as phone charging ports, small IC removal or general PCB hot air station work, then recall them in seconds. This makes the unit especially useful for repairers and makers who regularly move between different board types and component sizes.
A smarter alternative to generic marketplace stations
SMDAir is positioned for UK buyers who want an electronics repair hot air station with clear value and specialist focus. It offers the control expected from an SMD hot air station, plus accessories and usability features that help you get more from the unit straight away. Whether you call it an electronics rework station, hot air desoldering station or BGA soldering hot air station for lighter-duty work, the emphasis stays the same: stable, practical hot air rework for electronics.

Customer Reviews
I bought this for small PCB repair jobs and it has been far better than the generic unit I had before. The 3 memory channels are genuinely useful because I can save one profile for USB-C ports and another for shielding cans.
Arrived quickly with the UK plug, nozzles and tweezers all in the box, which meant I could use it the same evening. Airflow feels controlled and the digital temperature display is easy to follow.
As someone who does fine electronics prototyping, I wanted an SMD repair station rather than a glorified heat gun. This has the right level of control for reworking small components without blasting the entire board.
Very capable little hot air desoldering station and the included silicone mat is a nice touch. My only minor criticism is that the fan gets a bit noisy at higher airflow, but performance has been excellent.
I was comparing this with a YIHUA model and chose SMDAir because it came as a more complete starter bundle. For the money, having the nozzles, ESD tweezers and bench mat included made it better value.
Used it mainly for replacing HDMI ports and tidying solder on console boards. It handles repeat jobs well once you store your preferred settings, though I would have liked a slightly longer mains lead.
Excellent value for a digital hot air station that is actually ready to use out of the box. The different nozzle sizes make it much easier to target small areas cleanly, especially when lifting SMD parts.
